Restraining Order Issued Against Nine Year-Old Bully


Stephen Feudner got sick of all the stonewalling from Rolling Hills Elementary School in Fairfield, California. School officials claim safety is first there, but their behavior suggests they are more interested in guarding the privacy of the bully who has been harassing the man’s son. So Feudner bypassed the school system by taking out a restraining order. He still hasn’t been able to get the bully’s address, but hopes to make progress on that next month in court.

Venice Votes to Regain Independence


89 percent of Venetians have voted, in an unofficial ballot, to break away from Italy. A major reason is high taxes, which help support their countrymen in the south. Venice was an independent city-state for 1000 years. And then came Napoleon. Finally in 1866, the newly formed Kingdom of Italy absorbed Venice and surrounding areas.

FDA Approves Headband for Decreasing Migraine Attacks

50 thousand Cefaly nerve-stimulating headbands have already been sold in Europe. Migraine patients typically wear the device for 20 minutes a day. According to the FDA, that results in fewer debilitating headaches a month. The agency reports no evidence the headband reduces the pain of an incident already in progress. On the other hand, the Belgian manufacturer claims the product is useful for treatment.
