First the banned behavior is legalized. Then it becomes required. We’ve seen this pattern before. The first shoe has fallen in Canada for assisted suicide. Now pro-life doctors are waiting to see what happens when the second shoe falls.

31 year-old Joseph Burrell, of Mankato, Minnesota, had just completed a drug treatment program when cops searched his vehicle and found a blue powder. A field test indicated the presence of amphetamine. A subsequent test at a crime lab showed the substance was only vitamins. But that was nearly three months later.
Remember the Borg in “Star Trek: The Next Generation?” They were part human and part machine. There’s an actual movement today called Transhumanism that has similar goals. A recently revealed project — under development by the military’s DARPA — seems to be taking a step in that direction. However, it is being billed as a device that will help blind people see. If that’s as far as it goes, that would be great. But don’t count on it.
Betty Sexton called 9-1-1 to get help in making unwanted visitors leave. It is unclear at what point the Gastonia, North Carolina woman picked up an unloaded musket. According to one version of the story, it was as the visitors were getting ready to leave. She started to put the gun down as ordered and that’s when Officer LaDoniqua Neely shot her in the chest.
The Child Protective Services (CPS) worker who appeared at the home of Tiffany and Jason Adams in Missouri said she did not want to take their 8 year-old son, Jaxon, but “they’re making me.” Dr. Amber Hoffman had allegedly called CPS right after they asked for a second opinion. The ripple effects are unbelievable. Mrs. Adams has lost her home business and fears she will not be allowed to complete her RN degree, for which she is two credits short. She would still be liable for $45 thousand dollars in student loans.
