The list of possible suspects associated with the fatal injury of Freddie Gray has expanded from certain Baltimore police officers to include Gray himself. A prisoner in the van carrying the 25 year-old man says he heard him “banging against the wall” of the vehicle. The witness was separated from Gray by a partition and could not actually see him. The case is by no means solved. More investigation is needed.

Call it extreme tunnel vision. The ACLU is so single-minded about promoting a pet cause, it’s interfering with acts of mercy toward immigrants. The US Conference of Catholic Bishops has accepted federal funds to feed and clothe illegal immigrants, but is unwilling to provide emergency contraception.
Ben Carson says he believes in liberty and parental rights. But he doesn’t want objecting parents to have a say in whether their children are vaccinated. However in a recent statement he softened his hardline tone just a bit: “Obviously there are exceptional situations to virtually everything and we must have a mechanism whereby those can be heard.”
The FBI wanted ex-CIA Director David Petraeus to go to prison. Instead, the retired general was put on probation and fined less than his customary speaking fee. FBI officials say he initially lied about providing classified material to his girlfriend and biographer, a felony that normally carries a prison sentence of up to five years.
