Veteran investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson leveled an explosive charge against the Obama administration last week, claiming that the Justice Department secretly switched out a hard drive on her computer.
The former CBS News investigator and current host of Full Measure made the accusation in relation to an earlier one contained in her book, Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth Against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obama’s Washington. “Re: My govt. computer intrusions…What would you think if I told you the hard drive of one of my personal computers was secretly switched out w/another while in custody of the Justice Department Inspector General — before they gave it back to me? (Tick-tock.)” she tweeted Wednesday.
In Stonewalled, she wrote that an independent forensic analysis revealed her laptop computer had been penetrated by the US intelligence community and a restricted-access document planted in a place where it was difficult for laypersons to locate.
