Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains announced this week that it will close six clinics in Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Three of the clinics the Planned Parenthood affiliate will close are in New Mexico. The closures will cut the number of Planned Parenthood clinics in the state in half, according to KOAT-TV.
The organization will also close its Casper, Wyoming, clinic, the only Planned Parenthood clinic in the state. According to the Casper Star-Tribune, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood said that Wyoming patients “would be referred to three local providers.”
Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains will also close facilities in Longmont and Parker, Colorado.
