The category of offense committed by a six year-old Cañon City student was changed by the school district Wednesday from “Sexual Harassment” to “Misconduct.”
Superintendent Dr. Robin Gooldy said the first-grader’s parents met with Lincoln School of Science & Technology Principal Tammy DeWolfe on Wednesday and resolved to change the category of offense. The student is back in school.
The incident stems from when he kissed a female classmate on the cheek in November and then kissed the same girl on the hand December 4th.
