It’s official. According to a recent Gallup survey, 48% of Americans support a Universal Basic Income. As recently as a decade ago this kind of proposal would have been unthinkable, well almost.

Reverend Steve Gehlert lives in New Hampshire where winter temperatures get pretty cold. This past week the mercury dropped to minus ten degrees. Gehlert, who pastors the Congregational Church in Lyme, says he’s slept outside “… to help other people think about what homeless people are going through.”
