Waking up in a morgue cold, alive and alone is the stuff nightmares are made of, but this is what happened to a woman in Germany. A 92-year-old woman was declared dead in her bed at a nursing home after she was found without a pulse and there was no breathing detected. She was transported to the funeral home and stored in the refrigerated area where the corpses are kept until burial arrangements are made.
According to ABC News on July 28, that evening a worker in the funeral home got the fright of their lives when hearing a scream from the room where the dead bodies are stored. The 92-year-old woman was not dead and when she woke up cold and in unfamiliar surroundings she let out a scream.
According to DB Techno, this woman from Germany woke up hours later after she was declared dead. The woman was sick, so apparently when there was no breathing or a pulse detected, the woman was hastily deemed deceased.
