A 29 year-old man was arrested Monday morning after he tried to rob a bank with a note the teller couldn’t read, authorities said.
Jamal Garrett, of Antioch, was arrested across the street from the Wells Fargo Bank at 2601 Somersville Road, where police said the man demanded money about 9:45 AM. The attempt was unsuccessful, authorities said, in part because bank employees did not immediately know they were being robbed.
